What is Pre-Shipment Inspection?
Pre-Shipment Inspection is a quality control process that is typically used when there are large deals involved.
A common example would be an international trade in which damage or fraud may be done to the product without revealing it early enough in the inspection process.
However, this type of inspection can also be carried out domestically when fraud or damage has strong incentives.
As a Pre-shipment Inspection company, we will send people to observe the production of the product and inspect its state before leaving the factory’s premises.
The inspectors will then report their findings back to the company they represent, including whether conditions were met according to specifications and if any fraud was detected.
They will also provide suggestions for improvement regarding quality control issues present at the time of inspections if necessary.
We have a significant amount of responsibility in the event that fraud or damage has been done because it would become their liability to deal with. In certain cases, specific insurance policies may be taken out against this possibility.
